Florence AT photographer

Trained in photojournalism at CE3P in Ivry-sur-Seine, Florence AT joined the Vandystadt sports agency in 1998. There she learned speed, precision, the constraints of the field and the necessity of finding the right image in the middle of the movement.

Based in Toulouse, her work is no longer limited to stadiums; she is part of the Divergence collective and develops documentary photography that is attentive to places, people, and what remains when the event is over. An abandoned prison, children in a refugee camp in Kurdistan, inhabitants, landscapes, faces: her projects often speak of memory, absence, and how distance and time transform things.

Her artist residencies extend this research. In Saint-Nicolas-de-la-Grave, she created a project with the women of the village, combining portraits, stories, and installation. In Castelsarrasin, she is working with the 31st Engineer Regiment on military identities, professions, and what uniforms reveal or conceal. In Martres-Tolosane, she is reinventing historical earthenware with portraits of the inhabitants.

Alongside her author projects and documentary commissions, she works as a Photo Manager on major sporting events: Rugby World Cup 2023, Paris Olympic and Paralympic Games 2024, Roland-Garros 2025 and 2026.

Winner of the Canon Europe Award in 2018, Florence AT regularly exhibits her work. She is also a trainer and the author of several books on photography.

She is also the initiator of the SPRINT festival, dedicated to documentary and artistic sports photography.
