Auschwitz

Captured in black and white film at the Auschwitz concentration camp in Poland, these photographs aim to convey the unique atmosphere of the place by freezing time in the remaining vestiges. Auschwitz is a place steeped in immeasurably tragic history, a witness to the horrors of the Second World War and the Holocaust. By using film photography, I have favored a traditional method which, although technically outdated compared to digital photography, brings a depth and texture inherent to this historical subject.
